There is no doubt in my mind, that the current month is the harshest month.
If you’re a guy and your dating and it’s Valentine’s Day and you just don’t know what to do…. well, that’s major stress and opens you up to all other kinds of effects too.
I’ve had on again/ off-again colds for the last 2 months, and romance is a hard thing to do when you’re a walking kleenex box, tissues stuffed in every pocket and a red-as-rudolph matching nose.
Just maybe the stress of this day has made me more susceptible to bugs and viruses?
I’ve also been looking for some new dating services to review. So far, FarmersOnly.com has made the grade; a unique niche in an otherwise overdone dating service market. You can read the review here.
Valentines Day was a great time, even a Saturday night I am sure added a level of romance that just isn’t the same when Valentines Day lands on a Tuesday or Wednesday, right?
We will soon have posted a new contest, to start next week, sponsored by “The Dating Coach” DeAnna Lorraine (www.DeannaLorraine.com ).
And new reviews are being posted today, reviews of:
ProfessionalSingles.com
HarmonyPartners.com
LargeandLovely.com
MilitaryFriends.com
DatingforSeniors.com
Should be exciting!
It’s been a few months updating and all I can say is busy, busy, busy.
The Internet is busting at the seams not only with a whole host of crappy new “free” dating services but some really good ones too, sadly these new interesting dating services don’t offer much in the way of membership, as in how many members they have at the time of my visit, so I have to wait… wait… until there efforts in drawing more members makes the dating service reviewable.
I have also noticed a lot of action in the “video dating” sector. A few well thought out serveices are trying to make a go of video only dating, or by being a back-end video dating technology (plug-in) for other web sites to incorporate into their services.
That will make things interesting just as Userplane changed in a way that chat can be offered on websites, maybe video will follow suit.
I see that the “Lemontonic” dating service model (being a premium service using the Microsoft IM as the backend servivce) has collapsed, and now they are pushing a “Badoo” membership based on the free with advertising model. Too bad, I liked Lemontonic.
Ahh well, hopefully in the next few days I will have some suitable websites to review and post for you… and hopefully won’t have a layoff of so many months between posts. Happy Halloween!
May is here along with the promises of spring and new life.
And new adventures. Threoughout this month the aLoveLinksPlus editorial team will be looking for exciting places to meet new poeple to review for you. If you can get out in the RW (Real World) an doff your compoter for a few hours we want to make sure it’s your time that is well spent, so we will spend our time wisely to help you.
Already we have identified several interesting web services so stay tuned to the New Reviews page, and join our newsletter too, you’ll like what you read!
It seems that we all arrived OK.
The first “PerfectMatch.com” contest has been completed and I am still waiting to confirm the winner. A free 90 day membership at PerfectMatch.com is a great way to start 2008, right?
I’m hoping to have more great prizes for upcoming contests announced soon. Stay tuned.
